Ren茅e Wilson

Senior Communications Coordinator

Ren茅e Wilson joined the 福利姬视频 Florida team in May 2019. As Senior Communications Coordinator, she works with staff around the state to create and manage content for the 福利姬视频 Florida website and social media channels. She also assists in the production of printed and electronic publications.

Ren茅e serves as the media liaison for 福利姬视频鈥檚 Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. In addition to managing Corkscrew鈥檚 website and electronic newsletter, she creates content and engages with media outlets to raise awareness of the Sanctuary鈥檚 research, stewardship, and education efforts.

Originally from upstate New York and Vermont, Ren茅e graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Mass Communications/Public Relations. She moved to Naples in 1991. She held PR positions for a construction company and an interior design firm before taking the position of Research Translator with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection at Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. She worked in communications there for 19 years before joining the team at 福利姬视频.

As a Florida Master Naturalist Program graduate and instructor, Ren茅e loves the southwest Florida environment and enjoys nature photography, birdwatching, boating, and snorkeling.
