Evan Barrientos

Communications Manager, Community Building

Evan Barrientos is the communications manager, Community Building. His passion is using photography, videography, and writing to inspire people to explore and care for nature. From 2018–2025 he managed communications and marketing for ¸£Àû¼§ÊÓÆµ Rockies. He began birdwatching and photography as a child at the Schlitz ¸£Àû¼§ÊÓÆµ Nature Center in Wisconsin and studied Natural Resources at Cornell University. In addition to communications, he has worked in the fields of environmental education, volunteer coordination, land restoration and management, and ecology.
